Through Art Keep Smiling – the location in which we are having lecture. It’s a center for art. And they actually have a little shop where they sell their art, jewelry, etc. Remember that comment about having a room of Africa décor? I wasn’t kidding . . . !! I hope future room-mate is okay with that.
It’s a pretty good place to hold lecture though. We have decently paced Wi-Fi – even though I can’t really get on during lecture. And they have a generator if needed for power.
Don’t worry. Our teacher is British so we have a coffee/tea
break in the morning. It’s just too bad I don’t drink coffee regularly. I guess
it’s nice to have a break and snacks regardless.
Showers. Yes – they are freezing cold. I knew they would be,
but it’s still a little rough to get used to. I didn’t shower this morning.
Sleep sounded too nice. But I’m pretty sure that won’t happen again. I feel
stinky and gross. So even though it’s cold, showers in the morning are a good
clean way to start the day.
