A Sunday Evening show

We decided to let people know we were in Gulu. We cannot be here and NOT visit with people. BSG Labongo is a musician and lucky for us, our friend.
He was invited to visit the primary school Ocer Campion as it was the end of their term and the oldest grade was graduating. Labongo has been through a lot of sad, tragic things in his life.
He was young during the war. His father was shot, in front of him, when he refused to go with the rebels. Then BSG was abducted, later shot in the knee, and had to crawl to find help. He could not walk for a very long time. He now has crutches that he has to walk with.
But that has not slowed him down.
BSG travels to different districts and schools to help teach the kids motivational lessons. Things may be hard and things may look impossible, but you can pull through. You can do many things with your life if you just work hard.
BSG not only sings, but dances. He is a very impressive man with many talents. He has catchy songs that the children loves, as well as adults. He is very funny, but also very motivational.
While he was there, there were a lot of fun kids that got up and danced with him. They were very talented and really enjoyed his music. I could not possibly dance like them. He of course asked us to come up and join him a couple of times, considering we were his guests. But neither Anna-Claire nor I know how to dance, so we did not want to get up in front of an entire primary school, faculty, DJ, and others to show how ridiculous we looked.
But one of them came up to me and invited me to dance with them. Oh man!! It was TERRIBLE dancing, and rather quick. It was entertaining for everyone though, and that's all that really matters I suppose. I laughed too, so we all enjoyed it.
